Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Assist with the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts.
• Assist with analysing the actual vs budget monthly financial reports.
• Assist with annual budget processes.
• Provide input and assist with the monitoring of expenses in all locations.
• Assist with preparing consolidated detailed expenses departmental reports.
• Undertake other responsibilities at the request of the Projects Accountants Manager as well as assist where possible on the day-to-day finance related activities.
• Provide monthly income and expense reports.
• Assist in drafting projects budget.
• Monitor and ensure the sound financial management of company´s projects.
• Provide project financial reports with explanations on project variances.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements on financial issues for grants.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a must.
• Be sympathetic with and enthusiastic about the purpose and goals of the Organisation.
• Good knowledge of Finance systems.
• Excellent command of English, both verba and written.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Good interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with sensitivity and confidentiality.
