CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established Consulting Firm, formed to inform and support both individuals and enterprises in relation to the exploitation of European and National Funds, we are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Project Manager, you will be effectively managing EU and National projects, as well as conducting desk and field research, as well as preparing reports. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Project Management, Business Administration, or another relevant field, who possess excellent analytical and drafting skills to produce proposals and reports. Experience in managing and implementing EU and/or National projects, under Research & Educational Programs will be considered a strong advantage, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Effectively manage EU and National projects.
  • Conducting desk and field research and prepare reports.
  • Facilitating the organization of workshops and other project activities.
  • Developing competitive project proposals under EU and National programmes, concerning research, education, and innovation actions.
  • Collaborating efficiently with the team members.
  • Representing the Organization abroad (extensive travelling).

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English languages.
  • Excellent analytical and drafting skills to produce proposals and reports.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Taking initiatives and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to develop educational (training) material.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent social and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Solid social media management experience.

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience in managing & implementing EU and/or National projects, under Research & Educational Programs (at least 1 year).
  • Experience in the preparation of research proposals, grant applications, and tenders.
  • Experience in organizing and implementing training seminars.
