CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established engineering company that provides design and manufacturing solutions to the dairy and food industries, we are seeking to recruit a Production Manager to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Production Manager, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of production. As part of your role, you will ensure adherence to ISO9001 & Health & Safety regulations, and provide support and mentoring to less experienced production team members. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering, or another closely related field, who possess approximately 5+ years of experience in a relevant manufacturing role. You will need to be fluent in Greek and English, and be familiar with software packages including MS Office, and AutoCAD. A highly attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary, and Provident Fund. Working hours are from 06:45 – 16:15 and/or 08:30 – 17:45 from Monday to Friday, and from 06:45 – 13:00 two Saturday’s per month.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Plan and monitor production plan implementation.
  • Oversee production efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO9001 & Health & Safety regulations.
  • Manage resources, reports & work orders.
  • Daily management and support of the production team.
  • Ensure all assigned production records and reports are completed appropriately.      
  • Collaboration and coordination with all other teams as required.
  • Ensure that the escalation procedure is followed in a timely manner.
  • Daily Quality Control of Production Teams.
  • Propose production improvement opportunities.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or another closely related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of mechanical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD software. 
  • Experience of leading and mentoring a team is highly desirable.
