CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established engineering company that provides design and manufacturing solutions to the dairy industry, we are seeking to recruit a Production Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that team members follow established production procedures and comply with quality requirements. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering, or other closely related fields, who possess approximately 1+ years of experience, preferably gained working in manufacturing. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, and have experience with software such as Excel, MS Office, and CAD/CAM (AutoCAD). Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure that team members follow established production procedures and comply with quality requirements.
  • Complete all necessary records and reports.
  • Ensure the team is aware of daily goals and responsibilities.        
  • Inspect quality and oversee quality control in the production department.
  • Track development milestones to meet established deadlines.
  • Act as deputy to the Production Manager during their absence.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 1–3 ears of experience, preferably in large-scale manufacturing construction or commissioning projects.
  • Strong written communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience in leading small team activities.
  • Strong teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good computer skills and experience with software such as Excel, MS Office, and CAD/CAM (AutoCAD).
  • Excellent time management skills.
