Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Manage and oversee third-party AIFs and RAIFs in line with their investment strategies, offering documents, and CySEC regulations.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, and compliance with investment and leverage limits under AIFMD and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external promoters, investment advisors, and service providers to ensure efficient fund operations and reporting.
• Prepare and/or review regular fund reports, including performance, risk, and regulatory submissions (e.g. Annex IV, investor updates).
• Maintain effective communication with clients and fund promoters, providing updates on investment activity, risk profile, and market trends.
• Ensure full adherence to the AIFM’s compliance, governance, and risk management frameworks.
• Support the onboarding of new funds, including due diligence on investment strategies and service providers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and internal controls related to AIFM operations.
• Stay informed of CySEC, ESMA, and AIFMD developments relevant to fund management.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) will be considered an advantage.
• CySEC Advanced Certificate is a must, or at least willing to take the certification within 6 months of joining.
• CySEC AML Certificate would be considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in portfolio management preferably within an AIFM, investment management firm, or financial institution with exposure to alternative investment strategies.
• Strong understanding of alternative investment strategies.
• Strong understanding of the Cyprus Fund Industry, knowledge of the Luxembourg fund industry would be considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex investment concepts and market insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
• High level of attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision in portfolio construction and management.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all aspects of portfolio management and client interactions.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Greek) considered a plus.
