CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established, regulated Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Payments Processing Specialist to join their growing team based in either Limassol or Nicosia. As a Payments Processing Specialist, you will primarily be responsible for processing and settling payments with different Payment Service Providers (PSPs). You will ideally hold an academic background in either Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field, and should possess approximately 1-2 years of relevant professional experience gained working in the payments department of a financial services company. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Processing and settling payments with different Payment Service Providers (PSPs).
  • Cooperating with the customer support team on clients’ requests in relation to their banking/financial inquiries and/or requests.
  • Complying with the company’s anti-money laundering procedures.
  • Assisting other internal departments with any issues they have related to client funds.
  • Performing data entry/processing.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and developments and suggesting to Management the implementation of new payment methods, as appropriate.
  • Complying with internal company policies and procedures.
  • Undertaking other tasks assigned by Management.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or another related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience working in the payments department in the financial services sector.  
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
