Payments Officer
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and expanding Electronic Money Institution & Investment Firm, licenced by the Central Bank of Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Payments Officer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Payments Officer, you will primarily be responsible for the execution of Payments via SWIFT, SEPA and other routes, as well as for the reconciliation, processing, and monitoring of transactions. An academic background in Business or another related field is desirable, and previous professional experience gained working for a Bank, Payment Institution, and/or EMI is highly desirable. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing
Payments via SWIFT, SEPA and other routes.
- Responsible for the
reconciliation, processing, and monitoring of transactions.
- Coordinate with the various
departments within the Company.
- Communicate with Credit and
Financial Institutions for the monitoring of transfers and balances.
- Perform any related work as
assigned.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a
Business-related field will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
- Previous relevant experience in
a Banking/ Payment Institution/ EMI will be considered an advantage.
- Computer literate, with very
good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Willing to learn and eager to
work under pressure.
- Fluency in both Greek and
English, both verbal and written.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills,
with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Team player.
