CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established Consulting Firm, formed to inform and support both individuals and enterprises in relation to the exploitation of European and National Funds, we are seeking to recruit an Operations & Support Manager to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As the Operations & Support Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, compliance, and quality of internal operations and externally funded initiatives by supporting the Managing Director, coordinating project logistics, assisting with funding application processes, and ensuring alignment with internal procedures and EU funding requirements. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Business Administration, Management, European Studies, or another relevant field, who possess previous experience in an administrative and/or project support role, preferably within EU-funded projects. Experience with financial reporting procedures, and basic accounting practices is essential, and fluency in verbal and written English is a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Managing Director.
  • Ensure proper upkeep of office space and supplies, coordinating with vendors as needed.
  • Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of the organization’s quality and safety systems, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external standards.
  • Assist in the administrative support of EU-funded projects (e.g., Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, CERV, Digital Europe).
  • Assist with procurement and financial tracking procedures.
  • Contribute to the preparation of narrative and financial reporting for EU-funded projects.
  • Support project communication and dissemination efforts.
  • Provide logistical support for the implementation of project-related meetings, events, and seminars.
  • Liaise with external partners and service providers for the coordination of assigned tasks and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support for funding applications related to recruitment, training schemes, or other client-focused services

  • Organize meeting logistics, including the preparation and circulation of agendas, minute-taking, and follow-up on action points with relevant stakeholders.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, European Studies, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an administrative and/or project support role, preferably within EU-funded projects.
  • Experience with financial reporting procedures and basic accounting practices.
  • Experience in organizing and delivering logistical support for events, meetings, and seminars.
  • Familiarity with organizational quality assurance and safety standards (e.g., ISO), and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Interest in EU policy areas such as education, digital transformation, innovation, and social inclusion.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, SharePoint) is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Professional attitude, discretion, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural and interdisciplinary environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
  • High level of responsibility, discretion, and trustworthiness in handling sensitive in-formation and tasks.
