CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and respected Investment Firm & Electronic Money Institution with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit an Office Administrator to join their growing team. The successful applicant will perform a variety of administrative tasks designed to facilitate the smooth running of the office, including welcoming visitors by greeting them in person, answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls and maintaining a clean reception area and conference rooms. An academic background relating to Business Administration, Secretarial Studies or similar is desirable, and you will ideally hold at least 1+ years of previous experience in a relevant administration focused role. Computer literacy, with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Welcoming visitors by greeting them in person.
  • Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls.
  • Maintaining a clean reception area and conference rooms.
  • Receiving and sorting mail and organizing outgoing parcels.
  • Ordering office supplies and keeping inventory of stock.
  • Updating calendars and scheduling meetings.
  • Arranging travel and accommodation.
  • Helping in the preparation of corporate activities and events.
  • Helping in the administrative tasks of the HR Department.
  • Helping other departments with administration duties.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • An academic background relating to Business Administration, Secretarial Studies or similar is desirable.
  • Previous relevant experience in a similar position is highly desirable.
  • Computer Literate, with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Willing to learn and eager to work under pressure.
  • Fluency in Greek and English language.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Team player.
