CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Group of Companies with diverse business interests, we are seeking to recruit a Network Engineer to join their growing team based in Limassol. Reporting to the IT Manager, the successful applicant will primarily be responsible for performing network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problems, as well as designing, implementing, and maintaining local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network systems. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and should posses previous experience as a Network Engineer. Any relevant CISCO industry certifications will be considered an advantage, but not essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network systems.
  • Configure and install network devices and services, access points, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Perform periodical network audits to improve and enhance network operation.
  • Collaborate with IT team to ensure smooth and reliable operation of different sites.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of network infrastructure, network topology, and routing protocols.
  • Provide networking support.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Certifications in Cisco and Cisco Meraki will be considered advantageous.
  • Capability to prioritize work and make prompt decisions.
  • Organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate strong scheduling skills, methodologies, and delivery abilities.
  • International travel to other office locations may be required periodically.
