Mechanical Engineer
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established producer and supplier of bottled water across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team based in Ergates, Nicosia. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including the operation and monitoring of production machinery and equipment, carrying out routine and preventative maintenance, and recording and monitoring production efficiency. Our client is seeking applicants who hold an academic background in a relevant field of study (Technical School, ATI, TEI, or holders of a Mechanical Engineering degree) with prior experience in a relevant role considered a significant advantage. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operation and monitoring of production machinery and
equipment.
- Routine and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshooting and repair of breakdowns.
- Recording and monitoring production efficiency.
- Compliance with safety, hygiene, and food quality
regulations.
- Maintenance of records and technical documentation.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Graduate of a Technical School, ATI, TEI, or holder of
a Mechanical Engineering degree
- Previous experience in a similar position, or other
technical professions will be considered an advantage.
- Good knowledge of mechanical engineering; basic
knowledge of electrical systems.
- Sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team.
