CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and leading company operating in the Aviation & Transportation industry, we are seeking to recruit a Marketing & Communications Officer to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As a Marketing & Communications Officer, you will deal with a wide range of activities including Events, Media, Promotions and Corporate Communications. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, Media, or any other related field, who possess approximately 3-5 years of previous experience in a relevant role. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, and have knowledge of tools including Canva, Photoshop, and video editing software. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Acting as one of the first points of contact for media handling requests and liaising with the external communications advisor.
  • Media monitoring on a daily basis.
  • Create and handle landing pages for the promotion of various projects.
  • Producing materials for the Company’s magazine and liaising with the editor and other internal and external parties for proposed content.
  • Upload articles of the magazine on the company website and oversee proper distribution of the magazine.
  • Suggesting ideas to enhance the Company’s image through online presence.
  • Assisting in the planning and coordination of events and liaising with external suppliers and associates as well supporting the internal team for implementation.
  • Take photos and videos and edit them to support events or other ad hoc activities and liaise with external suppliers.
  • Suggesting material for the monthly newsletter, and preparing written material such as Press releases, speeches, interviews, articles and any other material as required.
  • Providing support in the implementation of corporate communications and other departmental initiatives (i.e. sustainability report).

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • BSc in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, Media, Literature or any other related field.
  • Master’s degree in Business or any other related field will be considered an advantage.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of relevant work experience is a must.
  • Very good knowledge of the Greek and English languages (verbal and written).
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop and video editing software.
  • Strong decision making and critical thinking.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
