CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and leading company operating in the Aviation & Transportation industry, we are seeking to recruit a Marketing & Communications Officer to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As a Marketing & Communications Officer, you will primarily be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the company’s marketing and communication strategies, with a strong emphasis on digital performance and social media content creation. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, who possess proven experience in digital marketing and social media management. You will need to hold strong proficiency in Canva and/or other creative design and video editing tools, with the ability to independently shoot and edit short-form videos suitable for Reels, TikTok, and other similar formats. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement the social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.).
  • Manage social media content calendars and ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Create engaging, platform-tailored content such as posts, stories, reels, TikTok videos, and short-form video campaigns.
  • Monitor social media performance and provide analytics-based recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
  • Produce videos for social media: shooting, editing, adding subtitles, and post-production.
  • Use Canva and/or other creative software (Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, InShot, etc.) to design visual assets and edit videos.
  • Coordinate and execute video/photo shoots when needed.
  • Develop content for marketing campaigns, website updates, newsletters, and presentations.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of corporate events, partnerships, and other brand activities.
  • Track digital performance metrics and prepare monthly reports on engagement, growth, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Recommend improvements based on insights and data analysis.
  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Digital Marketing and Social Media Management.
  • Strong proficiency in Canva and/or other creative design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, CapCut, InShot).
  • Ability to independently shoot and edit short-form videos suitable for Reels, TikTok, and similar formats.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms and digital best practices.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Photography/videography skills are a strong advantage.
  • Experience in the aviation, travel, or hospitality sector (optional but beneficial).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with website CMS tools (e.g., WordPress) is desirable.
  • Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver high-quality content.
  • Highly creative with strong visual storytelling abilities.
  • Proactive, flexible, and eager to experiment with new digital ideas.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and a passion for digital trends.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and performance-driven.
