CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established Real Estate Group, offering a range of services including Property Management here in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs, on residential and/or commercial properties managed by the Company. This role ensures that all building systems, equipment, and grounds are maintained in safe, efficient, and operational condition to deliver a high-quality living and working environment for tenants. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field of study such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, who possess approximately 2+ years of experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a related role. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, including a 13th salary.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on buildings and systems (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, lighting, etc.).
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ensure that all work areas are safe, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Monitor the operation of building systems and equipment to detect potential malfunctions.
  • Report irregularities and assist in troubleshooting and repairing issues.
  • Coordinate with external technicians or service providers when specialized repairs are needed.
  • Implement and maintain a regular preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Record maintenance activities and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Proactively identify maintenance needs before problems occur.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • An academic background in a relevant technical field of study will be considered an advantage (Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering).
  • 2+ years of experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a related role is a must.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment safely.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Professional attitude and strong customer service focus.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English.
