Machine Production Engineer
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an international manufacturer of machinery for the production of plastic bottles, we are seeking to recruit a Machine Production Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Machine Production Engineer, you will handle a range of duties, including the assembly of machines and moulds, repairing machine faults, and the general operation of machines. Our client is seeking applicants who are graduates of a Technical School, or holders of a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, or Chemical Engineering. Any prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable, and should possess the ability to interpret mechanical assembly drawings. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, and working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00 from Monday to Friday.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assembling
machines, sub assembly mechanisms, and moulds.
- Identifying
and repairing part faults.
- Operation
of machines.
- Handling
assembly and fabrication tools.
- Loading
and unloading machines into containers.
- Maintaining
company tools and equipment.
- Maintaining
a clean and organized workplace.
- Contributing
to customer technical support requests.
- Full
compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Graduate
of a Technical School, ATI, TEI, or holder of a degree in Mechanical,
Electrical, Electronics, Production, or Chemical Engineering is a must.
- Prior
experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- The
ability to interpret mechanical assembly drawings.
- Ability
to perform well under minimal supervision.
- Excellent
attention to detail.
- Ability
to work well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic health and safety regulations and procedures.
