The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, amending, and commenting on various types of agreements and legal/corporate documents. You should be educated to degree level in Law, and possess approximately 3+ years of relevant professional experience in the legal field. Experience in one or more of commercial, cyber, securities, banking, or payments law is a mandatory requirement. Any knowledge of payments industry will be considered as an advantage, and fluency both verbal and written French and English is essential. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Reviewing, amending, and commenting on various types of agreements and legal/corporate documents.
  • Working closely with other departments within the company to provide ongoing coverage of legal aspects including coordinating the business on legal matters.
  • Assist in managing legal documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct legal research, review relevant regulatory and statutory changes across the EU, UK and other jurisdictions as required and if relevant, advise impact to business.
  • Support the legal team in various administrative tasks.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Educated to degree level in Law.
  • 3-4 years as a practicing lawyer.
  • Experience in one or more of commercial, cyber, securities, banking, or payments law is a mandatory requirement.
  • Fluent in English and French both written and verbal.
  • You will need to be hands on in carrying out legal work.
  • Ability to handle large workload with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of payments industry will be considered as an advantage.
  • A thorough approach to work and attention to details.
