CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and expanding Engineering Firm that specialise in the provision of Solar, Cooling & Heating relating projects and services, we are seeking to recruit an LPG & Mechanical Installations Technician to join their growing team based in Larnaca. Working as part of an established Engineering Department, the successful applicant will assist with the installation, upgrading and maintenance of LPG installations, and other energy products and systems (air conditioning, photovoltaics, heat pumps, burners, etc.) for residential and commercial clients across Cyprus. Our client is seeking applicants who are High School and/or Technical School graduates, who possess previous experience in a similar role, with demonstrable knowledge of plumbing and electrical installations. You will need to be fluent in Greek, and possess a good command of the English language, and be willing and able to travel across Cyprus as required. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Install, upgrade and maintain LPG installations and other mechanical installations.
  • Makes scheduled site visits.
  • Ensures the safe transportation of products [LPG, LPG Tanks, Split Units, Photovoltaics, etc.] in a proper and professional manner while respecting customers' property.
  • Ensures assigned tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Works in accordance with the Safety & Health regulations and the instructions of the product manufacturer.
  • Provides Technical Support & After Sales Services always demonstrating a high level of service.
  • Attend all relevant training and certifications as required.
  • Occasionally may work "on call".

Key Skills/Experience:

  • High School or Technical School graduate
  • Experience in a relevant position.
  • Knowledge of plumbing and electrical installations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Completed military obligations.
  • Fluency in Greek, and a command of the English language.
  • Integrity of character, responsibility, confidentiality, teamwork, and the ability to work effectively.
