CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a cutting-edge, and highly innovative provider of Tax related solutions to a broad range of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Tax Expert to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Junior Tax Expert, you will work closely with our client’s internal team and external partners, helping ensure smooth tax submissions, whilst also contributing to special projects and the everyday mechanics of a growing platform. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business, or another relevant field, and possess approximately 1+ years of experience in Tax, Audit, Administration, or Operations. Holders of, or those working towards a professional accounting or tax qualification such as the ACCA, ACA, or ADIT are encouraged to apply, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with preparing and reviewing personal income tax forms.
  • Support clients in understanding and applying tax exemptions and allowances.
  • Support on ad hoc tax advisory projects and research tasks.
  • Track deadlines and submission progress through internal systems.
  • Follow up with clients on pending documents, exemptions, and status updates.
  • Prepare draft requests for tax certificates, tax clearances and non-dom certificates.
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors for coordination and document collection.
  • Assist with back-office admin: invoicing, task monitoring, data organisation.
  • Participate in platform testing and process feedback loops.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Tax, Audit, Administration, or Operations.
  • ACCA, ACA, or ADIT (even part-qualified) is a plus.
  • Great communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Detail-oriented and organised, especially under deadlines.
  • Comfortable with digital tools (Excel and other ERPs) and eager to learn new systems.
  • Curious, self-motivated and willing to dive into both client work and backend processes.
