CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Payment Service Provider (PSP) with operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Settlement & Reconciliation Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Junior Settlement & Reconciliation Officer, you will primarily be responsible for supporting the daily reconciliation of Client funds utilizing third-party statements and/or internal reports, as well as assisting with the preparation of various daily/weekly/monthly reports related to client funds, balances, and/or processing. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar, who possess at least 6 months of relevant professional experience in a similar role. You will need to possess strong analytical and numerical skills, with excellent attention to detail. Fluency in both verbal and written English is a must, along with sound knowledge of MS Excel.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Supporting the daily reconciliation of Client funds utilizing third-party statements and/or internal reports.
  • Assisting with the preparation of various daily/weekly/monthly reports related to client funds, balances, or processing.
  • Monitor movements in PSP’s, download statements/reports and follow up with confirmation regarding various issues from Payment gateways, payment services providers, support or technical teams.
  • Communication with clients and service providers when required, in the most professional manner, regarding funding queries or proof of payments.
  • Communication and coordination with various departments within company and Third party for issue resolution.
  • Reconciling PSP services provider’s and Resellers commission on a monthly basis.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • An academic background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar will be considered an advantage.
  • At least 6 months of relevant professional experience in a similar role is a must. 
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills are a must.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office applications, in particular Excel.
  • Prior experience working with CRM systems is desirable.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English.
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
