CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a CySEC Regulated Administrative Service Provider (ASP), offering a range of services including Corporate, Legal & Fiduciary Services, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Legal Counsel to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will provide comprehensive legal support to the company, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, safeguarding corporate interests, and facilitating the smooth execution of business operations. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Law, who possess 0-2 years of experience in corporate or commercial law, gained working for a Law Firm or in an In-House role. Basic knowledge of corporate, commercial, and data protection law is essential, and good drafting and communication skills are a must. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary, and working hours are from 09:00 – 17:00 from Monday to Friday with some flexibility.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Will be a part of the corporate department, handling all administrative services for the clients
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing commercial contracts (e.g. service, IP, NDA, employment, and data protection agreements).
  • Support corporate governance tasks, including preparation of board and shareholder documents.
  • Help ensure the company complies with applicable laws and internal policies.
  • Assist with legal risk assessments for new projects and partnerships.
  • Support corporate transactions and due diligence processes.
  • Help prepare and review documents for ongoing transactions.
  • Help maintain legal templates, policies, and internal documentation.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association are encouraged to apply.
  • 0-2 years of experience in Corporate or Commercial law (in-house or law firm).
  • Basic knowledge of corporate, commercial, and data protection law.
  • Good drafting and communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well in a team.
  • Valid driver’s license.
