CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established Law Firm with offices in Larnaca, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Lawyer to join their growing team. As a Junior Lawyer, you will work closely with Senior Lawyers to conduct legal research, support ongoing legal matters, and draft a range of legal documents including sales contracts, service and lease agreements, memorandums, board, and committee minutes. Our client is seeking applicants who hold an LLB, who are members of the Cyprus Bar Association. You will need to possess approximately 2+ year of proven post-qualified experience in Corporate Law, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a competitive base salary. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate or an early-career lawyer looking to develop their legal expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment. Working hours are from 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday. Fridays, 08:30 – 15:00.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Drafting of Agreements, Contract of Sale, Lease Agreements, Letters etc.
  • Drafting of corporate forms, documents.
  • Keep up to date with new obligations of Cyprus companies and attend on time to all the necessary changes that need to be made with the Companies Register.
  • Performing KYC/AML checks for clients.
  • Performing immigration services.
  • Use of I - justice system.
  • Prepare and submit tax forms.
  • Administrative duties, including filing, scanning and organizing.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Key Skills/Experience:  

  • LLB Law degree is a must, LLM considered desirable.
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
  • At least 2+ years of work experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English.
  • Computer Literate (MS Office).
  • Organisation and time management skills.
  • Teamwork.
  • Strong work ethic.
