The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting network systems, ensuring network security, and assisting in the resolution of technical support issues. The role also involves supporting customers with their technical needs and providing excellent customer service while contributing to the overall IT operations of the company. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another relevant field, who possess a minimum of 1+ year of relevant professional experience within a similar role. Proficiency in Network Administration and general Information Technology practices is essential and strong skills in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting network systems.
  • Ensuring Network Security and assisting in the resolution of technical support issues.
  • Provide technical support across the company and supporting customers with technical needs.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and associated services.
  • Respond promptly to service issues, requests, and incidents.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation.
  • Document and manage technical issues using our ticketing system.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • Diploma or above in IT/Computing/Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Ideally 1+ year of relevant professional experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Network Administration and general Information Technology practices.
  • Strong skills in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of Network Security in a business environment.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate technical details effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
  • A degree or certification in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in an IT support or junior IT role is an advantage.
  • Problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
