CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique Law Firm offering services in the areas of Corporate Law, Financial Markets, and Corporate Administration Services and International Trusts, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Corporate Lawyer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Junior Corporate Lawyer, you will primarily be responsible for proving legal advice to clients on a range of corporate matters, including compliance, contracts, corporate administration and governance. Our client is seeking applicants who hold an LLB, who are members of the Cyprus Bar Association. You will need to possess approximately 1+ year of proven post-qualified experience in Corporate Law, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Provide legal advice and support on straightforward corporate matters, including compliance, contracts, and governance, corporate administration and company incorporation and ongoing filing requirements.
  • Support in the drafting and review a variety of agreements.
  • Prepare and submit filings to the Registrar of Companies (company registration, strike-off, share capital increase/reduction, redomiciliation of companies and other related applications).
  • Maintain corporate records and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Conduct legal research to support decision-making.
  • Cyprus Trust administration.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
  • Approximately 1+ year of experience in Corporate Law is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of Cyprus legal frameworks.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High ethical standards and sound judgment.
  • Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English.
