CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading company operating in the iGaming industry with growing offices based in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Compliance Officer to join their growing team. As a Junior Compliance Officer, you will play a role pivotal in supporting day-to-day operations within the compliance department, with a focus towards investigating and resolving complaints, scrutinizing and approving marketing content, GDPR requests, and maintaining ongoing compliance reporting. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Law, Business, Accounting, Finance, or similar, with any previous experience in a Compliance or Administrative role considered a significant advantage, but not essential. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Thoroughly investigate complaints logged by the support department, employing meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to resolution.
  • Promptly and efficiently address inquiries received through the Compliance mail-box and project boards, ensuring clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Support the team in gathering and organizing data requests pertaining to GDPR across all jurisdictions, meticulously adhering to data protection regulations and privacy standards.
  • Compile comprehensive and insightful monthly reports summarizing compliance activities, offering valuable data-driven insights to aid the Compliance team's decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to compile and deliver accurate and comprehensive data reports to regulatory authorities in licensed jurisdictions, ensuring strict adherence to specified deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance assessments on marketing through several mediums (website, social media, streaming platforms, bespoke marketing campaigns), SEO content to guarantee alignment with established standards and regulatory requirements, contributing to our commitment to compliance.
  • Maintain and update company manuals and documents that pertain to compliance procedures and protocols, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the team.
  • Actively engage in collaborative efforts with diverse internal departments to efficiently execute tasks and projects within specified time frames.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the accurate and timely completion of Due/Enhanced Diligence questionnaires required by Banks, Game Providers, and Payment Providers.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Law, Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Prior experience in a Compliance or Administrative role is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in the English language, with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to meet multiple daily deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in embracing new responsibilities as they arise.
