CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique Tax, Audit and Business Advisory Firm with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Auditor to join their growing team. As a Junior Auditor, you will work under the guidance and supervision of experienced audit professionals to perform audits of local and international clients, as well as assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, who possess strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in the Audit field is desirable, although full training will be provided, and Recent Graduates with relevant academic backgrounds are therefore encouraged to apply. Knowledge of Caseware software will be considered an advantage, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. An outstanding remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a competitive base salary, performance-related bonus, 13th salary, provident fund, hybrid working options, and more! Working hours are 08:30 – 17:30 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 08:30 – 14:30 each Wednesday, and 08:30 – 15:30 each Friday.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform audits of local and international clients.
  • Assists in the preparation of financial statements of clients in accordance with IFRS.
  • Assists in the preparation of tax computations and tax returns.
  • Willingness to use the latest technological tools when carrying out audit work.
  • Assists in the preparation of AML procedures.
  • Work closely with different departments to gather needed information.
  • Work closely and report to the Manager.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • University degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • Any previous experience in the Audit field will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient command of both Greek and English languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Caseware software will be considered an advantage.
