Junior Auditor
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Auditor to join their growing team based in the heart of Nicosia. As a Junior Auditor, you will work under the guidance and supervision of experienced audit professionals to perform audits of local and international clients, as well as assist in the preparation of financial statements of clients in accordance with IFRS. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, who possess strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in the Audit field is desirable, although full training will be provided, and Recent Graduates with relevant academic backgrounds are therefore encouraged to apply. An excellent remuneration and benefits package is on offer which includes a generous base salary, 13th salary, provident fund, flexible working hours, hybrid working options, and ACCA/ACA sponsorship.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in audit engagements for local and international clients in accordance with IFRS and ISA.
- Support Seniors and Managers in completing audit assignments.
- Prepare basic audit working papers and documentation.
- Collect and organize client information and supporting documentation.
- Assist in identifying audit issues and escalate to Senior/Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements and tax computations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Studying towards ACA/ACCA or graduate in Accounting/Finance.
- 0–2 years of relevant audit or accounting experience.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of Caseware International will be considered an advantage.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) in Greek and English.
