Junior Auditor
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider of Audit, Tax, Accounting, Consulting & Financial Advisory services to both local and international companies, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Auditor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Junior Auditor, you will assist in the execution of audit engagements for local and international clients in accordance with IFRS and ISA, under the guidance and supervision of more experienced audit professionals. An academic background in a relevant field of study is desirable, and applicants working towards a professional accounting qualification are encouraged to apply. 0-2 years of experience in either audit or accounting is required, with any knowledge of Caseware International considered a plus. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, along with excellent working hours (Monday – Wednesday & Friday: 07:30 - 15:00 & Thursday: 07:30 - 17:30).
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in audit engagements for local and international
clients in accordance with IFRS and ISA.
- Support Seniors and Managers in completing audit
assignments.
- Prepare basic audit working papers and documentation.
- Collect and organize client information and supporting
documentation.
- Assist in identifying audit issues and escalate to
Senior/Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements and
tax computations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Studying towards ACA/ACCA or graduate in
Accounting/Finance.
- 0–2 years of relevant audit or accounting experience.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of Caseware International will be considered
an advantage.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) in
Greek and English.
- Knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage.
