CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit an Audit Manager to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Junior Auditor, you will work under the guidance and supervision of experienced audit professionals to perform audits of local and international clients, as well as assist in the preparation of financial statements of clients in accordance with IFRS. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, who possess strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in the Audit field is desirable, although full training will be provided, and Recent Graduates with exemptions from ACCA will be considered an advantage. Fluency in both verbal and written Greek & English is a must. Our client offers a highly attractive remuneration and benefits package based on skills and experience including a 13th salary, provident fund, annual salary reviews, and Friday afternoon’s off.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Taking part in performing audit engagements of both local and international clients.
  • Involvement in client acceptance procedures and preparation of the proper KYC file.
  • Understanding client’s business.
  • Assisting in the preparation of audit working papers.
  • Preparation of financial statements of the clients in accordance with IFRS.
  • Communication with clients while conducting the audit work.
  • Assisting with the preparation of tax computations and tax returns.
  • Supporting the accounting department.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or any other related field with grade 2:1 or equivalent.
  • Pursuing a professional qualification- Exceptions from ACCA modules will be considered as an advantage.
  • IT literacy with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools( Excel, Word, Power Point).
  • Good personality with strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English language.
  • Eager to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
