Junior Auditor
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique provider of Audit & Accounting services, and with offices in both the UK and Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Auditor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing audit workings and tests in accordance with the firm’s methodology and professional standards, with the support and supervision of Senior Management. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, who possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Previous experience in the Audit field is highly desirable, although full training will be provided. Knowledge of Caseware software will be considered an advantage and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Our client offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package which includes performance-related bonuses, Friday afternoon’s off and flexible working hours.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performing audit workings and
tests in accordance with the firm’s methodology and professional
standards.
- Ensuring the decisions and
instructions from Management are adhered to.
- Any other relevant duties as
assigned by Management.
- Reporting to Audit Manager
regarding status, progress, and completion of audits.
Key Skills/Experience:
- University degree in
Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- Any previous experience in the
Audit field will be considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and
attention to detail.
- Proficient command of both
Greek and English languages.
- Excellent communication and
interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of MS
Office applications.
- Knowledge of Caseware software
will be considered an advantage.
