Junior Auditor
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit, Tax, Accounting and Advisory Services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Auditor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Junior Auditor you will be responsible for carrying out simple audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, with any previous experience in the audit or accounting field considered a significant advantage, although full training will be provided. You should have started, or be willing to commence the ACA/ACCA qualification, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carrying
out simple to medium level audit engagements in accordance with
International Standards on Auditing.
- Assistance
in the evaluation of audit risks and formulation of responses for more
complex audit engagements.
- Ensuring
work is prepared in accordance with the Firm’s methodology and standards.
- Preparation
of Statutory Financial Statements.
- Preparation
of tax computations and tax returns.
Key Skills/Experience:
- University
degree in a relevant field e.g. Accounting, Finance, Economics.
- Will
start or have recently started ACCA/ACA qualification courses.
- 6+
months of previous audit experience will be considered a plus.
- Fluent
in written and spoken Greek and English.
- Outstanding
communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge
of CaseWare or related software will be considered a plus.
- Attention
to detail and results oriented.
- Diligent,
methodical, devoted and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A team player with pleasant personality.
