CareerFinders, on behalf of a client, a dynamic and long-established Law Firm, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Associate Lawyer to join their growing Corporate and Commercial Law Department based in Nicosia. As a Junior Associate Lawyer, you will work alongside and support senior lawyers in providing legal advice and assistance on corporate and general EU and/or regulatory law matters. Our client is seeking applicants who are holders of at least an LLB, who are full members of the Cyprus Bar Association. You will need to possess at least 1 year of proven experience in Corporate, Commercial and EU Law, with strong drafting and analytical skills. Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is essential, along with high attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Work alongside and support, senior lawyers in providing legal advice and assistance on corporate and general EU and/or regulatory law matters.
  • Work on company formation, company administration, corporate restructures, legal due diligences and draft and review corporate documents such as shareholders’ agreements, share purchase agreements, board resolutions and contracts in corporate transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare reports or legal opinions and complete surveys on regulatory, consumer protection and data privacy matters.
  • Liaise with clients, authorities, and other stakeholders on corporate law or EU and/or regulatory law.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • LLB (Bachelor of Laws).
  • LL.M. (Master of Laws) or equivalent qualification in corporate/commercial will be considered an advantage.
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
  • 1-2 years of proven experience in Corporate, Commercial, and EU law.
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office applications.
