CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Accounting & Financial Services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Accounting Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for bank and PSP reconciliations, as well as customer, vendor, and intercompany reconciliations for small to medium-sized companies. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other closely related fields, and holders of the LCCI Higher accounting certification are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess at least 1+ years of experience in a similar role and experience in the Financial Services industry will be considered an advantage. Fluency in English is a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain accounting books and records on a daily basis and ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Preparation of the daily cash flow reports for banks.
  • Prepare banks and PSP reconciliations.
  • Performing customers, vendors, and intercompany reconciliations for small-medium sized companies.
  • Preparing tickets for payments of supplier invoices through a payment system.
  • Good communication and collaboration with other departments.
  • Ensuring that internal/external deadlines are met.
  • Being able to undertake ad-hoc requests from seniors/supervisors.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • LCCI Higher or Diploma or University Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry will be considered as an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Fluency in the English language, oral and written.
  • Self-motivated, energetic with ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and critical thinking.
