Junior Accountant
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a professional services firm based in Nicosia offering clients a range of services including Accounting, Tax and Corporate Services, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their growing team. As a Junior Accountant, your responsibilities will include day-to-day bookkeeping and financial reporting, quarterly VAT submissions, assisting with payroll, and more! An academic background in relevant field will be considered an advantage, and holders of any relevant accounting certifications including the LCCI Higher or equivalent are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in a relevant role is highly desirable, although full training will be provided, and Recent Graduates with relevant academics are therefore encouraged to apply. You will need to be a confident user Microsoft Office applications, with any experience working with E-Soft accounting software considered an advantage. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary, Provident Fund and 21 days of annual leave.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day
Bookkeeping/Financial Reporting.
- VAT
quarterly submissions.
- VIES
returns.
- Payroll
(Social Insurance/TD59/TD63/TD7).
- Monthly
Reconciliations (Bank-Debtor-Creditor).
- Dealing
and liaising with customers, banks, and auditors.
- Corporate Services.
Key Skills/Experience:
- An
academic background in a relevant field is desirable.
- Holders
of any relevant accounting certifications such as LCCI Accounting Higher
or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
- Prior
experience in a relevant role will be considered an advantage, but not
essential.
- Proficiency
with MS Office applications.
- Knowledge
of E-Soft accounting software will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent
knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
- Ability
to work as a part of a team.
- Very
good communication and organizational skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
