CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading company specializing in real estate financial consulting and management, with a strong presence across multiple global locations, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Junior Accountant, you will provide support to the Accounting Department with tasks including filing and invoicing, recording invoices, receipts, payments, and preparing monthly bank reconciliations. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field. Holders of relevant accounting certifications, including the LCCI Higher or equivalent, are also encouraged to apply. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must and knowledge of French and/or German will be considered an advantage. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Provide support to the Accounting Department with tasks such as filing and invoicing.
  • Record invoices, receipts, and payments, and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare Debtors and Creditors reconciliation.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT reconciliation.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or LCCI holder.
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written.
  • No previous experience is required.
  • Knowledge of French or German will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong team spirit and sense of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
