CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading Corporate Services provider specializing in incorporation and administration services, we are seeking to recruit an Internal Accountant to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As an Internal Accountant, you will handle a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers, managing income and expenditure accounts, generating financial reports, and more! An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, or any other relevant field is desirable, and holders of any relevant accounting qualifications/certifications are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess approximately 2+ years of relevant working experience, with any prior knowledge of E-Soft or any other relevant accounting software considered an advantage. Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
  • Completing analysis of the employee expenditures.
  • Managing income and expenditure accounts.
  • Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data.
  • Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status.
  • Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations.
  • Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in Accounting/Finance or holder of any relevant accounting qualification (LCCI, CAT etc...).
  • Minimum 2+ years relevant working experience.
  • Very good knowledge of the English and Greek language (i.e. IGCSE, GCE O’ Level, IELTS, etc).
  • Previous experience working with E-Soft or relevant accounting software will be considered as an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
  • Be able to perform under pressure.
  • Commercial focus to understand clients’ issues.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team oriented.
