CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established Group of Companies that offer clients a range of products and services, including importing stylish and contemporary Kitchens, Cabinets, and Doors, we are seeking to recruit a talented Interior Designer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, or another closely related field, and will need to possess approximately 1 year of proven experience in a relevant role. Any previous experience with kitchen design will be considered an advantage, and fluency in English and Greek is a must. You will need to be proficient with AutoCAD, with an excellent eye for detail and design. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, including a 13th salary. Working hours are from 09:00 - 13:00 & 14:30-18:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, and from 09:00 - 14:00 each Wednesday.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Designing kitchens and wardrobes.
  • Preparing interior layout drawings and proposals.
  • Developing client and vendor relationships
  • Updating designs based on changes made by the customer.
  • Suggests alternative design solutions in order to improve functionality and/or aesthetics.
  • Following project deadlines and be aligned with project requirements.
  • Using internal software for quotations and order processing.
  • Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practises.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor's in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Approximately 1 year of proven experience in a similar position is essential.
  • Previous experience in kitchens’ design will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of kitchen design software (e.g. Planit Fusion, Compusoft Winner, 3CAD, or other similar packages).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Creative talent, imagination and eye for design.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English.
