Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Providing support to existing and potential customers.
• Working with colleagues to deploy new systems and solutions.
• Developing bespoke internal solutions to solve unique challenges.
• Documenting solutions and helping support them effectively.
• Growing and sharing own skills and knowledge to benefit the company and customers.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or other IT related field.
• Strong foundation in server and storage infrastructure technologies.
• Good understanding of infrastructure networking skills, including routing and VLANs.
• Experienced in managing Windows server and desktop OS, and exposure to Linux server OS.
• Comfortable managing a Windows domain, particularly working with all aspects of Active Directory and Group Policy, and core aspects of Entra.
• Experience with hypervisor-based virtualisation and associated technologies.
• Experience with service desk and ticket management solutions.
• Passionate about technology and providing a high degree of service to customers.
• Ability and desire to develop new skills, expand knowledge, and experience new technologies.
• Excellent proactive communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Self-motivated, able to work without supervision as well as flexible with a proactive approach.
• Access to a reliable broadband connection at home (5Mbps or better).
• Suitable environment at home to work from, including space to run multiple monitors.
