CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit, Accounting & Tax related services to a diverse portfolio of both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit an IT Specialist to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for day-to-day IT operations, including workstation setup, software and hardware configuration, SharePoint access management, and collaboration with external IT providers. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field, who possess at least 1+ year of proven experience working in either IT Support or Systems Administration. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, and have a passion for technology and innovation. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • First point of contact for IT support within the organisation
  • Select and prepare new laptops/desktops based on departmental needs.
  • Collaborate with external IT providers for initial system and user setup.
  • Check and install printers.
  • Install and configure necessary software per department.
  • Provide first-level support to office users for day-to-day IT issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Evaluate and diagnose computer problems, offering timely and effective solutions.
  • Assist internal Staff Members with Office and productivity tools, ensuring they can perform their roles efficiently.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of laptops and assigned users.
  • Manage SharePoint access for internal and external users and keep updated records.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in IT.
  • Get trained in and manage the company's Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT Support or System Administration.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
  • Prior experience in a professional services environment (e.g., audit, accounting, legal firm) will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
  • A passion for technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
