As an IT Project Manager, you will primarily be responsible for the planning, and execution of technology projects on time and within budget. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Information Technology, Business or other relevant fields, who possess approximately 3+ years of relevant experience in Project Management. You will need to hold a relevant project management qualification/certification (PMP, PRINCE2 etc...) and fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Efficiently and effectively manage projects according to company’s PMO methodology and procedures.
  • Define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its lifecycle.
  • Plan the execution of the project including preparation of the project plan, identification and provision of resources, assessment of risks and mitigation planning.
  • Communicate effectively and build the necessary relationships with colleagues, customers and third parties to gain their commitment, support and resources to deliver project work.
  • Manage the progression of significant integration projects ensuring that resources are assigned to project tasks, including awareness of each resource role and responsibilities, and deliverables are coordinated to meet project plan milestones.
  • Ensure that all contractual requirements are satisfied, and the client’s expectations are managed accordingly.
  • Report and keep the various stakeholders informed in terms of the progress of the project and other necessary information.
  • Execute appropriate project governance and reporting.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Oversee the supply of materials and constituent products (e.g. ensure all requirements are identified and actions have been taken to procure the necessary items, raise invoices and take the necessary actions to ensure that payments are made within the agreed timeframes).
  • Support the bid process whenever required in terms of calculating costs and estimating timescales for projects requiring project management.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University Degree in Business or IT related field.
  • Approximately 3+ years of previous project management experience.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a must. 
  • Strong organisational skills including the ability to handle competing priorities and meet all deadlines and commitments.
  • Strong business analysis, definition, and design skills including knowledge and understanding of Project Management methodologies.
  • Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills including ability to lead, coordinate, guide and resolve issues within the scope of the project management duties and responsibilities.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English, both verbal and written.
