CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a Hospitality Group which owns and operates a number of luxury resorts in both Cyprus and Greece, we are seeking to recruit a Human Resources Officer to join their growing team based in Paphos. As part of your role, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the full employee lifecycle, as well as implementing successful and creative recruitment, onboarding, and retention practices. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, who possess proven experience in a relevant position. A strong understanding of HR practices, labour laws, and recruitment processes is a must, as well as excellent knowledge of Greek and English, both written and spoken. Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism are also a must. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer based on skills and experience, including a 13th salary and a Provident Fund.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Manage staffing needs and the full recruitment and selection process.
  • Conduct onboarding programmes and ensure smooth integration of new employees.
  • Coordinate staff training and development plans and maintain training records.
  • Coordinate staff performance evaluation systems.
  • Promote employee welfare, engagement, and an outstanding work culture.
  • Develop and manage recognition and reward initiatives.
  • Prepare contracts, offer letters and HR documentation.
  • Handle employee concerns professionally and maintain confidentiality.
  • Manage termination and dismissal procedures in line with policies and labour regulations and exit interviews.
  • Coordinate the hotel’s social responsibility initiatives.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources department is essential.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, labour laws, and recruitment processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and a high level of professionalism.
