CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a multi-asset investment platform, with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Head of Learning & Development (Arabic-Speaking) to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As the Head of Learning & Development you will be responsible for shaping and executing the organization's talent development strategy across key pillars including performance management, learning and development, internal mobility, and career growth. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field, who possess approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in performance management, L&D, or talent development, including 2+ years in a leadership role. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Arabic and English, and hold sound knowledge of performance management systems, LMS platforms, and HRIS tools. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the design and execution of performance management processes, including OKRs, KPIs, feedback cycles, and performance reviews, ensuring alignment with business strategy and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of learning initiatives such as onboarding, skills development, leadership training, and compliance programs using blended learning methods (digital, in-person, and experiential).
  • Measure the impact of learning and performance programs through analytics, feedback, and key business outcomes to ensure effectiveness and ongoing improvement.
  • Define and maintain role matrices, career paths, and succession plans to support long-term talent growth and organizational capability.
  • Implement structured promotion criteria, recognition programs, and leadership development initiatives to retain and motivate high performers.
  • Drive internal mobility and development opportunities through talent rotation, coaching, and mentorship programs that support cross-functional growth and career progression.
  • Enhance employee engagement by integrating learning and development opportunities into the broader employee experience.
  • Lead people analytics efforts by managing dashboards and reports that track performance, attrition, training participation, and talent trends.
  • Ensure all initiatives are scalable, data-informed, and reflect best practices in talent development and organizational effectiveness.
  • Drive personal development initiatives that help employees recognize and develop their soft skills, leadership potential, and readiness for career advancement.
  • Promote a culture of proactive career development by guiding employees and managers to identify growth opportunities, enabling structured promotion and internal progression.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in performance management, L&D, or talent development, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic is required.
  • Experience with performance systems, LMS platforms, and HRIS tools.
  • Strong understanding of leadership development frameworks and soft skills training methodologies.
  • Proven experience in coaching or mentoring individuals toward leadership roles and career growth.
  • Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and engage a diverse, cross-functional workforce.
