CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a pioneering company offering Data Analytics services and solutions to the Real Estate sector across Europe, we are seeking to recruit a Head of Finance & Operations to join their growing team based in Nicosia. Working closely with the CEO, you will be responsible for budgeting, cash flow management, investor reporting, and team coordination, whilst also overseeing outsourced functions such as accounting and legal. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar, and will need to possess at least 5+ years of experience in finance and operational roles, with strong cash flow and budgeting skills. You will need to be fluent in English, with any knowledge of Greek considered a plus. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Provide Management with insights on key financial metrics and risks.
  • Preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial report.
  • Oversee and improve the collection process.
  • Liaise with external providers for bookkeeping, payroll, VAT/Tax form/computation, and annual external/internal audit.
  • Lead the operation department and coordinate with HR and IT issues.
  • Support the recruitment process with the support of the department’s Heads.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 requirements and provide updates and coordinate/participate the internal and external audit for meeting the requirements and address/follow up any suggestion.
  • Lead the due diligence process.
  • Lead and support the automation and optimization of finance and operational processes.
  • Review and approve company’s payments and monitor working capital.
  • Coordinate with the other departments’ Heads to ensure alignment with the Company’s goals and KPIs.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • MBA or professional qualification at final stage will be considered as advantage.
  • 5-10 years of experience in finance and operational roles, ideally in tech, SaaS, or service company.
  • Strong cash flow and budgeting skills.
  • Experience or demonstrate capability in contributing to the automation of accounting and financial reporting process.
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office (especially excel).
  • Experience working with external providers.
  • Excellent English; Greek a plus.
  • Knowledge of Zoho1 and QuickBooks will be considered an advantage.
