CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an international leader in the maritime hospitality and hotel management industry, and with regional offices in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit an HR Generalist to join their growing team based in Limassol. As an HR Generalist you will be responsible for day-to-day HR operations, including managing recruitment for our client’s river cruise teams, as well as handling visa applications and coordinating travel and accommodation for crew members. You should be educated to degree level in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or another closely related field, and possess at least 2+ years of experience in the HR field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must, and knowledge of German will be considered an advantage. Our client offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package based on skills and experience, including 25 vacation days, private medical insurance and company pension plan.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Manage recruitment for river cruise teams, directly or through global agencies.
  • Handle visa applications and coordinate travel and accommodation for crew.
  • Ensure team members meet company standards and facilitate seamless onboarding and handovers.
  • Maintain and update the crew database, oversee working hours, and review pre-payroll details.
  • Collaborate with teams across departments to improve and innovate HR processes.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with ease.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • BSc in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or similar will be considered an advantage, but not essential. 
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; with any knowledge of the German language considered an advantage.
  • A collaborative spirit and a knack for teamwork.
  • Confidence with standard IT tools and the ability to adapt to new systems.
  • A curious mindset, eager to learn and develop new skills.
