CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading Engineering Firm, with over 50 years of history operating here in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit an HR Executive to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As an HR Executive, you will take ownership of our clients HR function, including leading and supporting the full recruitment process, overseeing time and attendance, collecting, and verifying employee documentation, and handling employee relations, ultimately contributing to the development of a performance-driven culture. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in a relevant field study, who possess proven experience in a relevant role. You will ideally have exposure to time tracking, attendance, and payroll preparation, with the proven ability to manage employee relations professionally and confidentially. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a generous base salary, 13th salary, performance-related bonus, and 23 days of paid annual leave. Working hours are from 08:30 – 16:30 from Monday to Friday.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Collect and verify employee documentation, including IDs, ARCs, employment contracts, and bank account details.
  • Collect, verify, and approve employee working hours, ensuring accurate tracking of attendance, overtime, absences, and leave.
  • Prepare, review, and submit accurate weekly and monthly payroll inputs (working hours, overtime, absences, allowances) to the accounting department.
  • Register employees and submit all required data and changes through ERGANI and SisNet, ensuring full compliance with Cyprus labour legislation.
  • Lead and support the full recruitment process, including preparing job descriptions, posting job advertisements, CV screening, interview coordination and participation, and preparation of employment offers.
  • Monitor employee performance and attendance in coordination with team leaders and managers, supporting probation evaluations and ongoing KPI-based performance reviews.
  • Track and document performance KPIs, including productivity, attendance, punctuality, overtime, quality of work, and behaviour.
  • Contribute to a performance-driven culture, encouraging employees to perform at the highest level through clear expectations, consistent evaluation, and accountability.
  • Handle employee relations matters, addressing employee concerns and workplace issues in a professional, firm, and confidential manner.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a relevant HR focused role is essential.
  • Experience handling time tracking, attendance, and payroll preparation is highly desirable.
  • Able to follow defined processes and apply company policies consistently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
  • Highly motivated, with a strong willingness to learn, improve, and develop professionally.
  • High attention to detail, especially with hours, payroll data, and documentation.
  • Able to handle employee matters professionally and confidentially.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
