CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading, luxury Hotel & Resort, we are seeking to recruit a Guest Relations Manager to join their growing team based in Paphos. Reporting to the Hotel General Manager, this role involves coordinating between various departments, handling VIP guests, and ensuring that all guests feel valued and appreciated throughout their stay or visit. The Guest Relations Manager plays a vital role in upholding the reputation of the Hotel & Resort by fostering a welcoming, professional, and hospitable environment. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally graduates of a Hospitality School or holders of a Public Relations Degree or another relevant field, who possess approximately 3+ years of relevant professional experience gained working for a luxury hotel. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a warm and personalized experience.
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain communication with guests to ensure their needs are met and anticipate potential requests.
  • Assist in check-in and check-out procedures for VIP and special guests.
  • Ensure that all guest interactions reflect the highest level of professionalism and hospitality.
  • Handle guest complaints with empathy and efficiency, resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on guest complaints and ensure long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, etc.) to resolve guest issues quickly.
  • Manage VIP and high-profile guests, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience.
  • Oversee any special arrangements or requests, such as reservations, excursions, and private services.
  • Ensure personalized attention to guests with special needs or requests.
  • Ensure that service standards are consistently upheld, following company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in all guest-facing areas.
  • Ensure that guest data and preferences are accurately logged and updated in guest profiles.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Graduate of a Hospitality School or a holder of a Public Relations Degree or any other related field.
  • Approximately 3+ years of experience in a similar position, ideally gained working in a 4 or 5-star hotel/resort.
  • Very good knowledge of the English and Greek languages. 
  • Any other languages will be considered as an advantage
  • Character distinguished by courtesy and positive attitude towards customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Friendly, approachable, empathetic, proactive, and customer-focused.
