CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a modern international family office, we are seeking to recruit a Group FP&A & Reporting Assistant Manager to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As a Group FP&A & Reporting Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the group’s cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and consolidated management reporting processes. This is a stand-alone role, and you will work closely with the CEO and the Group’s accounting teams. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, who possess 3+ years of experience in FP&A, group reporting, or investment reporting roles. Holders of any relevant accounting/finance qualifications are encouraged to apply, and you will need to be fluent in both verbal and written English. Advanced MS Excel skills, along with proficiency in reporting/visualisation tools such as Power BI are also a must. A highly attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare and maintain monthly cashflow forecasts for all group entities.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets in collaboration with entity management.
  • Monitor actual vs. forecast cashflows, analyse variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Build scenario models to assess the impact of investment decisions and market changes.
  • Ensure consistent application of group reporting standards across jurisdictions and entities.
  • Produce quarterly consolidated management reports.
  • Interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to Management.
  • Enhance reporting templates, visualisations, and presentation quality.
  • Implement best practices in forecasting and budgeting.
  • Liaise with finance/accounting teams across different jurisdictions.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CFA, CIMA) strongly preferred.
  • 3 - 5+ years in FP&A, group reporting, or investment reporting roles.
  • Proven experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
  • Background in investment firms, asset management, family offices, or corporate groups.
  • Advanced Excel (financial modelling, pivot tables, complex formulas).
  • Proficiency in reporting/visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Familiarity with ERP or consolidation systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP BPC, Hyperion, Caseware).
  • Strong understanding of investment instruments and portfolio valuation.
  • Interest and openness to explore AI-driven forecasting and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and drive improvements.
  • Ability to model, interpret, and optimise cashflows and budgets in complex, multi-entity environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and discretion.
