CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, we are seeking to recruit a Financial Analyst to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Financial Analyst you will be involved in the data transformation of the company and the integration of accounting tools with other systems to improve management reporting, budgeting, investment monitoring and automate processes. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another related field who are newly or partly qualified ACA/ACCA members. You will need to possess approximately 3+ years of relevant professional experience, with any specific exposure gained working in corporate finance, or a similar business modelling role considered a significant advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Our client offers an attractive remuneration package based on skills and experience, which includes a generous base salary, and performance-related bonuses.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain the investment track record including actuals and projections.
  • Maintain fund models for all funds.
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity management process.
  • Preparation of management reports and fund dashboards.
  • Support with the maintenance and production of reports from Asset Management and Development Management tools.
  • Group investment entity financial management, reporting, and accounting under IFRS.
  • Cash management, funding requests and distributions recommendations.
  • Capital and operating expenditure analysis and coordination of approval and reporting.
  • Coordination with asset management and investment teams.
  • Cash management and budgeting.
  • Coordination of and support with statutory and tax audit process.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Ideally a recent member of the ACA/ACCA, or working towards completing the qualification.
  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant position.
  • A Corporate Finance or other relevant background will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong financial analytical skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel user.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking, and a team player.
  • Fluent in English and Greek.
