CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a dedicated project management service provider specialized in the real estate and construction sectors, we are seeking to recruit a Facilities Manager to join their growing team based in Cyprus. As a Facilities Manager, you play a key role in engaging with clients on the management of their facilities including the asset registry, maintenance schedule, and supplier management. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, or other closely related fields, who possess approximately 5+ years of proven experience in Facilities and/or Property Management. You will need to have a strong understanding of project management principles, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, and standard working hours are from 08:30 – 17:30 from Monday to Thursday, and from 08:30 – 14:30 each Friday.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Engage with clients on facility’s needs.
  • Develop asset registry and maintenance plans on multiple facility sites.
  • Monitor suppliers’ schedules and ensure their timely execution of works. Supervise and ensure their good quality and verify.
  • Use specialised software to record, monitor, and communicate on the asset status.
  • Create budgets and approve payments to suppliers.
  • Develop leads for new facilities clients and support the Director in business development.
  • Manage stakeholders from the client and suppliers to maximise efficiency.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
  • Approximately 5 years’ prior experience in facilities management or property management.
  • Understanding of project management principles and how they affect successful outcomes.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with project management software is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, with a proactive and professional attitude.
