As an Events Coordinator, you will lead the planning and execution of all events, including defining objectives, creating timelines, managing budgets, and coordinating logistics. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, who possess a proven track record of success when it comes to organising events, including their planning and execution. You will need to have really strong attention to detail, with the commitment to delivering high-quality events. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the planning and execution of all events, including defining objectives, creating timelines, managing budgets, and coordinating logistics.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, including venues, catering, audio-visual services, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies for events, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and advertising.
  • Oversee all on-site activities during events, including registration, setup, technical support, and post-event breakdown.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all event-related inquiries, ensuring clear communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and attendees.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations, including feedback collection and data analysis, to measure event success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously seek out new event trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance the quality and impact of our events.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • High school diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • The ability to show and prove that you have a track record of success when it comes to organising events, planning and execution.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A basic understanding of how Jira, WordPress, and Mailchimp works.
  • A good understanding of how to use Microsoft Office.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet really tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for events.
  • Really strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality events.
