Engineer (Civil or Mechanical)
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established Engineering Firm that specialise in metal construction projects for both commercial and residential clients, we are seeking to recruit an Engineer with a Civil or Mechanical Engineering background to join their growing team based in Larnaca. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the project planning, as well as the preparation of material quantity estimations for orders. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, who posses previous experience in a relevant role. Knowledge of Tekla Structures V20 SR1/V21.1 modeling software and/ or STRUCAD modeling software will be considered an additional advantage, and fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is essential. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Project
planning.
- Site
supervision, if required.
- Organization
and scheduling of workforce and site.
- Preparation
of material quantity estimations for orders.
- Project
quantity take-offs for tendering purposes as required.
- Weekly
project progress reports.
- Monitoring
of project timelines.
Key Skills/Experience:
- University
degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a
recognized university or institution in Cyprus or abroad.
- Knowledge
of Tekla Structures V20 SR1 / V21.1 modeling software and/ or STRUCAD
modeling software will be considered an additional qualification.
- Integrity,
organizational skills, responsibility, initiative, and sound judgment.
- Ability
to understand construction drawings.
- Problem-solving
skills and ability to propose effective solutions.
- Excellent
knowledge of MS Office programs.
- Excellent command of the Greek language and very good command of the English language.
